Mold is never a pleasant situation to deal with, but when it comes to toxic mold it is not just a case of being unpleasant but also downright dangerous.
Toxic mold can cause a wide range of health problems, from respiratory difficulties to death, and toxic mold litigation has become a multi-million dollar industry.
There are many people that may be held accountable for toxic mold presence, and usually this comes down to building landlords or employers where the mold is found in either rented accommodations or in the workplace.
Often toxic mold goes undetected for some time, and this can lead to problems in the health department for anyone exposed to the mold unknowingly.
However, in some cases employers, landlords, and other responsible parties are made well aware of the presence of the toxic mold by tenants or employees, yet they fail to take any action and allow the toxic mold problem to get worse and to affect those exposed to it at dangerous levels.
This is where a toxic mold lawyer may be required. Anyone that feels that they or their loved ones may have been affected by exposure to toxic mold should seek immediate medical attention.
